Compact Customized Dragonfly C28S by Spyderco
The Dragonfly C28S knife is a customized sample of the famous model of the American brand Spyderco. The lightweight compact folder was made in the knife capital of Japan — the city of Seki and hand-inlaid by artisans from Santa Fe Stoneworks (New Mexico, USA).
The folder is pleasing to the eye and does not burden the pocket. Despite its modest dimensions, the Dragonfly C28S has all the features typical for an EDC knife.
The convenient Round Hole is Spyderco's trademark. It allows opening the knife ambidextrous. The blade is fixed by a reliable Back Lock.
The leaf-shaped blade is made of high-carbon Japanese steel ATS-34. This alloy holds the sharpness of the cutting edge well and has very high corrosion resistance. The surface finish is transverse satin.
The ergonomic handle of the knife is made of premium stainless steel and adorned with intricate inlay. The red and brown stones, mother-of-pearl spider web, and steel spider logo are merged into a smooth, tactile surface.
The bolster and the three-screw pocket clip are also made of stainless steel. A nice little detail is the red anodizing of the screws and the logo on the clip. By the way, the Spyderco company was the first to provide folding knives with a clip, introducing the fashion to carry knives not "in", but "on" the pocket.
The knife comes with the original packaging.
