The Knife #9 by Manufactory S&L
Made to order, handicraft. It has a number of differences from the previously presented prototype.
A blade is made of Swedish steel RWL-34 from the leading metallurgical concern Damasteel AB. The best EDC knives are usually made from this steel. Manufactory S&L prefers RWL-34 due to the excellent balance of technical characteristics and workability of this material.
The blade of the Knife is a drop point with a stonewashed finish. The thumb was excluded from the design of the knife, the blade can be opened by dragging a fuller.
The geometry of the tip was also changed, the spine bending of the Knife # 9 is smoother compared to the prototype.
The design of the Proto-Knife handle had a radial bend in the front of the left scale. The Knife # 9 has identical widths of the left and right titanium scales. The product number "9/10" and the autograph-logo of the Manufactory S&L are printed on the inside of the left.
The design of the pocket clip and the lanyard part was also changed, becoming more massive than in the prototype. The clip contains a button, located on the back of the handle, providing the clip movement to placing the Knife on the pocket.
The knife has the author’s lock “Side Press Lock”.
In the near future, only ten Knives will be made with unique numbers and original finishes (there will be no identical knives). You can order a custom knife on our website.
