The legendary "Technopatholog÷" — an EDC for aesthetes
The "Technopatholog" is the charm of steampunk in all its glory. The textured titanium handle, adorned with designer bronze hardware, resembles a frozen mechanism. It seems that in just a moment, the bolts and gears will spring to life — the knife will chug, hiss, release a puff of steam, and burst into motion.
Although knifemaker Nikolay Lomachenkov insists he is not an artist but a die-hard technician, the decoration of his customs is every bit as mesmerizing as their mechanics. Incidentally, in the "Technopatholog," the master installed his proprietary "Top Roll Lock" — which securely locks the open blade.
The blade's smooth action is achieved through bronze washers installed at the pivot. Just hook your thumb into the opening hole — and the blade glides out as if on oil.
The clip-point profile is forged from Swedish RWL-34 powdered steel, which holds an edge beautifully and offers excellent corrosion resistance.
The finish — a light stonewash on both blade and handle.
