The LM15900 Paul Pocket Cocobolo & Damascus is a representative of the "golden period" of the American company Lone Wolf Knives — before the manufacturer was absorbed by the giant Benchmade. The knife is now discontinued and has become a collector's quarry. The folder was released in a limited run of 250 pieces — before you is specimen number "1," as evidenced by the corresponding engraving on the blade.
The LM15900 Paul Pocket Cocobolo & Damascus is a small folding knife distinguished by its elegant design and original patented mechanism. The model was created by Lone Wolf Knives in collaboration with Paul Pocket Knife — the own brand of the renowned knifemaker Paul W. Poehlmann.
Beyond the design, Paul gifted the knife with his proprietary Paul Axial Lock. The knife surprises with its unconventional opening method. The folder should be held by the button mechanism with the handle facing upward — after pressing the button, the handle falls downward under its own weight, exposing the blade. The lock secures the blade in both open and closed positions.
The 5-centimeter blade shape is a classic drop-point. The Pocket is a quintessential "gentleman's" knife — modest in size, stylish in design, and luxurious in finish. The blade is forged from premium damascus steel, which adorns the grinds with a beautiful ring-like pattern.
The ergonomic handle is crafted from steel and decorated with scales of precious Latin American cocobolo wood. The restrained design is enlivened by yellow-metal hardware. The round pivot button bears the brand's logo — a wolf's head. This is not merely a design element — this very button locks the blade in either the closed or open position.
The backspacer is made of steel and securely ties the construction together.
