This time, a collaboration with the cult jeweler of the knife community — Rick Maverick (Starlingear) — that will leave no fan of brutal, eye-catching knives indifferent.
The partnership between Strider and Maverick has already become a fine tradition, where top-tier knives receive a distinctive design and are complemented by the canonical Starlingear skull bead, interpreted according to the folder's style.
The blade geometry stays true to the classic Strider spirit. The material is CPM S30V powdered steel. The finish is applied using Cerakote technology — a polymer-ceramic coating that enhances corrosion resistance and wear resistance. The spine features jimping that forms a comfortable thumb ramp.
Both sides of the blade are styled with prints inspired by the Irish celebration of St. Patrick's Day. The four-leaf clover symbolizes luck, while the Celtic cross was the primary religious symbol of St. Patrick himself. The central element of the composition is a red-bearded skull in a cap — a signature motif of the Starlingear skull aesthetic.
The signature five-sided handle is crafted from titanium and G10 composite. The scale bearing the pocket clip features thematic Starlingear prints, giving the knife its striking appearance. The lock type is a Frame-lock, reinforced with a Hinderer stabilizer to prevent the lock bar from over-flexing. The backspacer includes a lanyard hole, adorned with a brutal designer bead by Rick Maverick.
