The folding knife Dune Manufactory S&L is an admiration and respect for the great, fundamental sci-fi universe by Frank Herbert. Without Dune, there would be no famous Star Wars by George Lucas and the "space opera" genre, just as there would be no fantasy and diversity without John R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings.
The basic motif of the Dune knives is retro-futurism. We tried to give the product the look of a classic folding knife and, at the same time, equip it according to the spirit of the times. Each Dune has a unique finish, the choice of raw materials and the way the surface finishes may vary. We use only high-quality materials from proven manufacturers (Damasteel AB, Zladinox, Lasmet LLC, Chad Nichols Damascus, Vegas Forge, etc.).
The author's folder Dune has a modified liner lock with a button and a stud pressed into the butt of the blade. You can easily open and close the knife with one hand (this is a mandatory requirement for a modern folding knife).
The shape of the blade has a distinct dagger motif, but technically it is a single-edged drop point. The tip of the blade has a slight rounding to increase bending strength.
All products of the Dune batch are fine. The handle has a figured cascade milling, emphasizing the dune-shaped motif. In addition, the ribbed surface of the handle provides a secure grip. The lock button is engraved with a picture of the desert landscape.
The tip-up pocket clip is right-handed. The spectacular finish with low weight (only 150 grams) allows you to use the knives for every occasion (as EDC, or as stylish costume accessories).
