Bio-mech fantasy innovative Brous Blades knives

Brous Blades is a young but already very successful American knife maker company. Its designers look to the future, they do not dwell on “old, proven” technologies. Brous Blades is a generation of knife makers of the XXI century who rely on modern equipment and materials and in design they prefer high-tech motives.

When other knife makers began their path with handy tools from father's garage then Jason Brous started from high-precision technological equipment. He helped his dad who produced custom medical details. Jason got experience in CNC machining while growing up. With these skills  and family CNC he managed to create his first extraordinary knife.

Jason's first knife was not appreciated by the community due to the fantasy Biomech essence. Jason adored Biomechanical art style where machines’ details merges with nature attributes. It turned out that fantasy knives are not practical. Jason pacified the creative ego and added functionality to the knives. 

“Silent Soldier” model had the first success. This compact knife belongs to the Neck Knife category. Later, Jason expanded the range, created variations with a tanto blade, with a clip point blade, and even a flipper.

The number of “soldiers” could already be combined into a division, so like that the new knife was named. Division was released in 2013. The ergonomic flipper with titanium liner and carbon handles immediately gained popularity. A few years later, a smaller version, the Division Mini, was introduced to fans.

The Brous Blades range includes fixed blade knives, folders, neck knives and even multi tools. Jason Brous invites other persons for knife design. Kwaiback flipper was developed in collaboration with Jacob Hovack. With a melee trainer James Yager, Brous created the MF-CEO fixed knife with the blade set at the right angle to the handle.

Jason Brous continues to experiment with materials and processing. One of his favorite technique is stone washing of DLC finish or Cerakote coating. The most models of Brous Blades are presented in several colors. For example, the ICON knife has six handle colors.
