To create this knife the workshop “Vegas Forge” forged Herringbone Damascus for Begg Knives. Bodega Blackwood became a collectible folding knife flipper with unique decoration. This style knife is very rare as it was released only in three copies.

The drop-point blade is made from Vegas Forge Herringbone damascus. The blade has fluted milled hole pattern in the fuller and directional hand satin flats.

A bit of history. The herringbone pattern is one of the oldest decorative motifs. Originating during the Roman empire it travelled a long and glorious way in the design world. “Opus spicatum” was a type of masonry construction used in Roman. Herringbone brickwork was also a feature of Gothic Revival architecture. Nowadays it’s widely spread all over the world. For example, jackets, shirts and ties with a zigzag pattern are an ageless classic. 

This Bodega has a satin finished titanium handle with a frame lock that features a nested steel lock tip insert.
