Limited Edition Bodega with Vegas Forge Damascus
This limited version of an iconic Bodega flipper knife by the American company “Begg Knives” is a result of collaboration with Vegas Forge. Vegas Forge blacksmiths produce the excellent Damascus steel.
The blade was made from a Damascus steel pattern called Herringbone. This traditional pattern could be found everywhere — from clothes to architecture.
The fluted Damascus blade has been given directional hand satin flats. The perforation completes the look, it adds to the pattern depth and expression.
The titanium frame has carbon fiber inlays “Star Strike”. Mark Begg noticed this material is covered with a special polymer varnish that is anti-aging and prevents fading of copper threads of carbon fiber.
Axial pivot collar, backspacer and clip have branded Jewel Iced finish.
The bearing system Ikoma Korth is on the axis of a flipper knife. It’s known for its impressive resistance to side loads, dust resistance and fast speed blade extraction.
