Fabrizio Silvestrelli is a modern classic of art knifemaking. Collecting custom knives has become a multi-million dollar business due to Masters of his level.

Gentlemen's custom folders from Silvestrelli are functional EDC knives. They can belong to the art segment, however, they have a sufficiently reliable and powerful design, materials, and finishing selected for reasons of practicality and durability. The blade of this knife is made of powder steel M390 of the Swedish-Austrian concern Böhler-Uddeholm AG. The material is proven and respected, possesses high-strength shock-resistant martensitic steel. The drop point blade has a handmade satin finish. The flats are wide enough to ease work. A comfortable thumb plate is made of Damascus by Dean Thomas. You can also use it to open the knife as a flipper.

This frame-lock is special. Usually, speaking of knives with such a lock design, we mean a knife's frame which is part of a handle, and also a decorative element with a different finish, ornament, or inserts. The overlays on top of the frame turn the product into a folder with a liner lock. However, Fabrizio thinks differently: Italo has the design features of a knife with a frame lock made of titanium. Moreover, the handle has a bolster from the author's Damascus by Dean Thomas, and decorative black carbon fiber overlays.
