The large custom knife Hydra XL

The custom Hydra XL is a large piece of knife art. This formidable tactician was crafted by renowned American craftsman George Les, founder of Les George Knives. The flipper is created in a single sample with unique decor.

A powerful blade with a thick butt and a weighty ergonomic handle provoke to use of the knife to its fullest. Don't try to resist the temptation!  The 300-gram Hydra is made for extreme adventures and a wide range of tactical missions. The knife is crafted from sturdy premium materials and is a great choice for a refined collection.

It's nice to feel the beautiful, strong Hydra XL deployment in your hand. Press on the fin, and a wide blade flies out from the handle like a cannonball. The open blade is securely fixed with a titanium lock of a remarkable design. Les George used a non-standard bolster-lock system, which is a hybrid of a liner and a frame mechanism.

The brutal blade is made of American CPM-154. This powder steel is designed to be as aggressive as possible. CPM-154 is easy to sharpen and keeps sharpness for a long time, perfectly resists corrosion, and withstands heavy loads. The elongated working surface (due to the S-shaped cutting edge) guarantees an excellent cut. The impressive weight of the knife ensures high-quality chopping.

The long fuller follows the line of the butt and accentuates the predatory shape of the blade. The surface finish corresponds to the masculine design - a matte steel blade does not cast reflections.

The ergonomic handle provides a comfortable grip. A curve for a finger under a bolster and a notch on the butt give you additional control over the tactical. The matte decor of the flats echoes the stonewash of the titanium frame and the double-sided bolster. The high-quality black carbon fiber inlays are pleasantly warm and prevent slipping.

The long backspacer of the knife is also made of carbon fiber and decorated with spectacular stone relief.

The pocket clip is adorned with a textured shield with the Les George logo.

The knife comes with a zippered case and a business card.

The Hydra XL is a powerful brutal knife that looks equally good for camping mud or on a glass shelf. We'll probably break your heart, but Hydra is part of the store's collection and is not for sale.
