Marfione Custom Knives Anax is a polished custom knife made by an outstanding knifemaker Anthony Marfione.
Anax means lord, but in fact, it turns out to be the name of a species of dragonfly. The dragonfly is one of the most ruthless predators. She eats any insect that comes across her on the fly.
You can identify the cruel queen of the lakes in the silhouette of a closed knife. A rigid lanyard with a sharp bead imitates the slender belly of the dragonfly. By the way, it can be easily unscrewed (if you decide to take a custom folder to hike).
The Anax blade is made from premium Austrian Elmax steel. The reason for her choice is obvious: Tony Marfione decided to apply mirror polishing, and Elmax is as good at that. The shape of the blade is a sharp Clip-Point, so sharp that a little more and the knife will fall into a dagger. The wide fuller became a good solution, thanks to which Anax deftly opens with one hand. Just place the thumb in it and rotate it.
