The leaf-shaped profile of this mighty blade — 11 cm in length and 6 cm in width — performs equally well in straight cuts and chopping. The brand uses exclusively premium Austrian N690 steel for its blades. Thanks to its elevated molybdenum and cobalt content, N690 offers extremely high corrosion resistance, easily withstands torsion loads, holds an edge for a long time, and is easy to sharpen.
The already impressive properties of N690 are maximized through Extrema Ratio's proprietary heat treatment methods. Additional steel protection and glare reduction are guaranteed by the golden Testudo coating based on zirconium nitride.
The Shrapnel OG Gold handle is ergonomic perfection. The guard, the wide index finger choil, and the thumb jimping securely lock the knife in place even in a wet palm. The handle material is unique — Forprene elastomer offers not only high wear resistance but also excellent vibration dampening upon impact.
The set includes a wooden presentation case and a sheath that secures the knife in three carry positions.
