Men's belt with a multi-metal buckle and handcrafted python leather
The Maria Stalina® brand, hoping to delight knife enthusiasts, continues its work on artifacts that accentuate the image of a true brute. Following the "Adam's Head" batbar, we are pleased to present you with the luxurious "Gloomy Samurai" belt buckle.
We won't try to convince you that our samurai is gloomy enough — one look at this charming fellow, capable of disheartening many a warlike competitor with his mere appearance, is all the proof you need.
The buckle design was created by Maria Stalina based on a mask crafted by the talented artist Vitaly Ilyin (also known by his nickname Barandash Karandashich).
The construction is far from simple. It consists of several elements crafted from metals in different colors — white, red, and yellow. Each component is made using the lost-wax casting technique and, as befits a jewelry piece, meticulously hand-finished through polishing, engraving, and patination.
The assembled construction is neatly secured with a series of carefully executed jewelry-grade rivets, whose neat heads adorn the outer rim of the front face.
The first run of the "Twilight Samurai" Manufactura Caliber consists of ten unique, non-repeating pieces. Identical components across different Samurai are made from various metals, so while they share the same form, each has its own distinct character — as befits warriors walking the path of Bushido.
In the Maria Stalina Knives online store, you can purchase both the buckle itself and the belt that it crowns.
The belt straps of our Samurai are three-layered. The decorative outer layer is crafted from exotic leathers — crocodile, python, elephant, shark... The base and inner insert (the podium) are made from Italian bovine leather of combined tanning. All parts are hand-stitched with a saddle stitch — the strongest stitch known.
The buckle and the keeper are secured to the belt with a screw, allowing for quick and easy strap replacement.
