The knife is built from elite materials, with decoration that combines three types of finish and inlay work. Exterior-wise, this is very much an urban dandy, worthy of a fine three-piece suit pocket or an antique desk. The Mandera seems born for public life — you want to show it off, you want to talk about it. Yet the flipper's robust construction is ready for heavy work in the field — it will easily handle outdoor challenges of any level of difficulty.
The flipper weighs 140 grams and carries beautifully in the pocket. It's secured by a designer clip, fitted with a zirconium bead for easy fabric glide.
The elegant finishing is matched by a lightning-fast flip — crisp as a whip crack. The blade's light, swift flight is powered by the famous IKBS bearing deployment system. The bearings use ceramic balls, ensuring reliable, long-term operation. The open construction is controlled by a titanium frame lock spring.
Thanks to its curved shape, the Persian blade profile offers an extended cutting edge — guaranteeing excellent slicing performance. Long-lasting edge retention is provided by premium Swedish RWL-34 steel, which also boasts outstanding corrosion resistance.
The blade's complex grind is strikingly emphasized by its finish: a light stonewash on the grinds and a longitudinal satin on the flats. The curved spine line is echoed by a thin, perforated fuller.
The satin finish continues onto the titanium handle surface, while the sparkling stonewash is complemented by a three-dimensional "precious ice" pattern. This textured motif adorns the pocket clip, the pivot collar, and the backspacer. The decorative highlight — inlays of "pearl" black carbon fiber.
The decorative jimping on the backspacer not only adds elegance to the overall design but also ensures excellent grip, preventing any slippage.
The set includes a certificate of authenticity and a tapestry pouch with a floral pattern.
