The Cold Flame Knives Vector is a true custom piece, crafted by the hands of masters from Tula.
Under the Cold Flame Knives brand works the renowned Russian blacksmith and knifemaker Sergey Bobkov, who has made a name for himself with his exceptional quality and intricate patterns of his own damascus steel. Every stage of the knife's creation — from welding the forge package to finishing and assembly — is carried out personally by Bobkov.
The engraving on the knife handle — a floral ornament — is the work of the famous master and fellow Tula native Oleg Semenov, an engraver whose pieces are held in the Kremlin Armory Chamber in Moscow.
The blade profile is a pure drop-point. This versatile shape ensures the knife's high functionality. Bobkov's signature mosaic damascus is corrosion-resistant and holds an edge exceptionally well. It's impossible not to admire its pattern — it's like an endless starfall on a moonless night, the very dynamics of the cosmos frozen on the steel surfaces of the blade.
The titanium pattern of the bolster and pocket clip neither mimics nor overpowers the damascus ornament — it harmoniously complements it. If the Vector's blade is a mysterious night, then its handle is a clear dawn. The "gold" and azure of the anodized titanium reflect in the "silver" of the high-quality carbon fiber, like the first rays of sun in the cold currents of a mountain stream.
The pivot utilizes bearings — beryllium bronze with steel balls — endowing the Vector with a fast, effortless flip. The blade's movement is controlled by a steel liner lock concealed within the handle.
