Karambit does not require any special handling. Holding a karambit users usually rely on the reverse grip. In this position cutting, edge and tip are facing away from the user’s body, the index finger is slid into the safety ring. The author chose materials to match the nature of “Malaysian” – high carbon American steel 154CM and strong titanium. 

The “hawk” blade shape is perfect for gutting jobs. Fishermen love it for handling slickly fishing nets, gamers enjoy its aggressive shape that might be seen in slashers. A knife made of steel 154 features a powerful cut and holds the edge sharp.

The author’s mechanism put in motion by a release lever in the safety ring accelerates the blade when the knife is being opened. Flash-speed knife opening stops with a click – this is how the frame lock works. Titanium lock securely protects your fingers from being hurt by an accidental folding of the knife. 

Liner, backspacer, pocket clip, safety ring – every detail of the handle is made of titanium. A matt finish of the surface has a soft touch effect and feels nice in the hand.
