Prototype by Alan Folts Hieroglyph
The collector does not need to explain the value of the prototype knife. This is the moment of the birth of a new model, the long-awaited material embodiment of the Knifemaker's idea. This is a custom Hieroglyph flipper from famous American craftsman Folts Alan! The knife number is located on the inside of the back-spacer, artfully anodized to match the green patina.
Knifemaker dedicated his work to Ancient Egypt. Even the shape of the handle and the profile of the blade resemble the outlines of hieroglyphs. The knife handle was engraved by the author. The rough lines of the drawing imitate the signs carved in the tombs of the pharaohs. One side depicts the god Anubis, the guide of souls, surrounded by mysterious hieroglyphs. On the other we see a sacred scarab, an owl, a dog and ... a flying saucer stealing men (the master's joke).
Hieroglyph can be safely stored as a work of arts and crafts, or can be used as an EDC tool or a stationery knife. After all, the external beauty of the custom does not reduce the functional advantages.
The knife deployment is as light as a feather from the Osiris court. One click on the flipper, and the blade swiftly flies out of the handle. The open knife is secured by a reliable spring of the frame-lock mechanism.
The blade is formed from CPM-154CM high carbon steel. Hand-made satin cover the blade, emphasizing the unusual multi-grind of the blade.
The handle is made of bronze, a unique material that over time becomes covered with a noble patina. The ergonomic shape fits snugly in the hand, and the pattern relief improves the contact with the palm.
The backspacer and hardware are made of titanium and anodized in golden hue.
The knife comes with a black fabric case.
The custom prototype Hieroglyph is a godsend for the collector and gentleman. Buy Egyptian knife and Anubis himself will be in your hands!
