Hyper-90 Direware — custom brutal Damascus and Carbon Fiber

A leafy drop-point blade with a flipper is made of black Damascus. An author opened the Damascus pattern in a fascinating way, cutting the blade profile along rather than across the layers of the package. Since the blade is thick, the pattern is most effectively manifested on the butt and in the ricasso zone.
It is convenient to open the knife both by the flipper and by the dual thumb stud. The pivot bearing system provides smooth running of the blade.
Titanium frame with satin finish has black carbon inlays and a right-hand tip-up clip. The clip is made of titanium with a bead blast finish.
Backspacer Hyper-90 is made of Damascus with a geometric patterned motif.
Screws are covered with black DLC. Pivot hardware has grinding in a circle and milling.

Although modern knives made of forging steels are practically not inferior in hardness and strength to products made from most knife steels.
