French costume knife flipper knife City by Jean-Pierre Martin
City is an elegant custom flipper knife designed by French Knife Maker Jean-Pierre Martin. By removing the backspacer, Martin lightened the frame and reached 59 g weight.
City can be open and close easily with one hand. Just one press on the flipper, and the blade instantly flies out of the handle. Smooth and soft deployment is provided by Teflon washers in the axis of the product. The liner lock is responsible for reliable fixation.
The blade has a classic profile and material. Jean-Pierre used RWL-34 alloy steel, which perfectly holds the cutting edge and stubbornly fights against corrosion, so you can safely check the readiness of the grilled marble beef steak with a tip. Also, Swedish alloy is easy to sharpen.
Even though RWL-34 is recommended for making blades of complex shapes, the Knifemaker preferred to make the profile in the form of a Normal Blade. A straight butt and a cutting edge, a heel and a flipper — nothing more. The only but essential decoration of the blade is longitudinal satin, the matte finish of which was perfected by Jean-Pierre himself.
The City handle and clip are made of high-gloss black carbon fiber with woven threads. The Flipper knife from Martin is an attribute of a real gentleman, it emphasizes the status and impeccable taste of its owner. A black suit knife will fit perfectly into a set of premium accessories or will play a solo role in creating your look. City comes with a handwritten certificate and a leather case with a logo.
