Suit folder with satin and timascus Grand Basic
Grand Basic Timascus is a custom folder from a French master Jean-Pierre Martin.
Jean Pierre Martin has been creating exquisite fine art knives for 20 years, the best in France. The works of the maestro are rare, and the prices are quite democratic, which awakens in collectors the insatiable passion of the hunt.
The Flipper Grand Basic is a larger version of the popular Basic suit knife. The blade is made of high-alloy powder Damasteel® RWL-34 ™. The master personally worked on its satin finish.
Smooth deployment is achieved by Teflon washers in the axis. The knife is opened in two ways: by a flipper, or by the end ledge with notches, which, when the blade is open, serves as a stop for the thumb. The knife lock is a classic liner-lock, which fixes the blade in the open position.
The knife is very lightweight (only 103 g). The scales are made of timascus — a composite of various grades of titanium, created using a technology similar to producing Damascus steel. The material is quite new but has already earned the love of the knifemaking world for its lightness and extravagant color. The clip is also made of timascus and organically attached with a hidden screw.
Jean-Pierre Martin Grand Basic Timascus combines restraint of form with bright colors. This knife will emphasize the status and success of the owner.
Grand Basic Timascus is available only in the online store Maria Stalina Knives. It comes with a black case with a logo and a certificate, signed by Jean-Pierre Martin.
