Jeans Persian from SBW
This glorious Jean Persian knife is a result of a creative union between the Shirogorov Brothers Workshop and Dmitry Sinkevich (SiDiS). SBW produced a limited-edition batch with the design from Dmitry. There are only 200 flippers out there in the world, our Jeans knife’s number is 34. The number of the knife and batch size are emblazoned on the inner surface of the handle. In the same place, you’ll find authors’ logos and the name of the pivot system.
The Jeans knife is begging to be put in a pocket. Its casual design speaks for itself – right before you is an excellent EDC made for everyday use. Premium steel hardened up to 60 HRC promises delicious cut, titanium handle assures of strength and durability.
The miniature flipper is running the knife surprisingly easily. The darting blade’s run is due to the 3-row bearing (MRBS) applied to the pivot point. Don’t like to flip? Use a wide fuller. The unfolded knife is fixed by the titanium frame lock with the steel underlays for improved wear resistance of the pivot mechanism. This lock will last for ages.
Our EDC is quite a dandy! Just take a look at this Persian profile with the upturned nose and a quaint one-side fuller! Blade’s surface is decorated with soft tumbling, blade edge
- with a mirror polish. The shape does well basic day-to-day jobs. Add Vanax 37 steel to this functionality, and you’ll get a sturdy tactical tool. Yes, nothing is too good for this model. SBW used premium Swedish steel Vanax 37 which is many times stronger than 440C and sets records in corrosion resistance. It doesn’t fear a mountain creek or salt of the ocean.
Spine with jimping in combination with the ergonomic shape of the handle provides full control of the knife. Milled pattern imitating denim texture helps a better grip. Liners are anodized into dark-azure colors and decorated with light abrasion.
Backspacer and pivot screw are anodized too but in bronze. They resemble jeans hardware.
The knife comes with a branded box, certificate, and a polish cloth.
