The blade is made of M390 steel — the favorite material of knifemakers. The alloy of Austrian metallurgists is famous for its high hardness values, despises corrosion, and perfectly retains its sharpness. The flipper is ready for the toughest conditions.
The ZT 0801 BRZ has a swift flip that gives the impression of teleporting the blade from a closed position to an open one. This magical illusion is due to the KVT ball-bearing system fitted to the axle assembly of the knife. The open blade is securely fixed by a frame lock with a titanium retaining spring, the heel of which is protected from abrasion by a hardened steel plate.
