Reincarnation of a Saami warlock in custom knife Geidu
Custom folder Geidu by Manufactory S&L is a modern view at the northern traditions of knife making. The design of Geidu reminds the traditional Finnish knife Puukko. According to one version of the Saami, the geydu (witches) are Sami shamans who are capable of harm.
A Scandinavian blade with a straight spine is forged from Ladder-Damascus by Swedish company Damasteel AB. There is an asymmetrical carbon thumb stud at the root of the blade.
The handle made of anodized titanium. A scheme of the shaman's labyrinth, the ancient place of power that is located in the Kola Peninsula, is engraved on the one scale. On another scale you can see the logo of the Manufacture and the coordinates of the St. Petersburg workshop where the knife was made.
Titanium screws have a black DLC coating. The washer of the axial screw is milled in a circle, continuing the Nordic motif of the decor.
The knife has the author's modification of the liner lock with a button.
Geidu is not only an art object and a collectible item, it is a high quality folding knife for everyday use.
Comes with the author's key for hardware, a box with the company logo and the certificate of authenticity.
