Predatory custom knife Hydra with brocade Damasus
Lerman Custom Knives Hydra is perfection from Israeli knifemaker Lee Lerman. Supercars, medieval oriental knives, antique tools, and even the human form - that's where Lee took inspiration for designing the Hydra.
The flipper is fabulous, like the monster that gave him his name. Lee Lerman is a former carpenter, so for him, high functionality is the essence of any tool (be it a chisel or a custom flipper). Lee Lerman often uploaded a video where the Hydra cuts along a human hair with a sharp blade.
For the sharpness of the cutting edge, we thank the knifemaker's skill and Damasteel Damascus. The pattern of this steel looks like a mountain range from a bird's-eye view. Damascus is also used for scales of the handle.
The ergonomic curves of the handle ensure that the Hydra does not slip out of your hand. In addition, a rare type of bolster lock guards your safety. This titanium mechanism reliably controls the course of the blade. This lock is an analog of a liner lock, but more technologically complex and material-intensive. The liner and the bolster are united, they are made from a single titanium billet.
The deployment is a real pleasure. The finger barely has time to touch the fin, as the knife is already open. The flight of a curved blade is meaningless to describe, it must be seen and felt.
The Hydra knife is devilishly beautiful and damn functional. Such a reliable and handsome friend is equally appropriate in the pocket of both suit trousers and jeans; it will look organic on the banker's desk and next to the gearshift lever of the Lamborghini.
This knife is part of the collection of the Maria Stalina Knives store.
