Every Lomachenkov model features a unique, proprietary lock. The "Cryptographer" is equipped with a Scissors-lock — a mechanism operating on the frame principle. The mesmerizing circular motion of the outer and inner frames — and the knife unfolds, revealing the black "tongue" of the blade.
Swedish RWL-34 steel has long been cherished by both knifemakers and knife enthusiasts. The former appreciate it for its ease of finishing, the latter for its strength and edge retention.
