A star-studded knife — the epitome of custom craftsmanship
Nebula is a custom flipper by the talented Scandinavian knifemaker of Russian origin. Everything — from welding the mosaic damascus to forging the powerful blade to the flawless fit of every component — was done by the hands of Vladik Danilyuk. This flipper belongs to the true elite of knife art.
The name Nebula speaks for itself. The steel pattern of the flipper combines restrained coloration with expressive design. Its starry pattern is the pinnacle of blacksmithing mastery. Specifically for this knife, Vladik Danilyuk forged a separate mosaic damascus billet, from which both the blade and the handle of the flipper were crafted. This pattern is as unique as a fingerprint. Had the knifemaker ruined even the pocket clip, he would have had to reforge the entire billet.
Nebula is not just a beautiful ornament — it's a highly functional knife. The blade profile sits between the aggressive Bowie and the restrained Clip-Point. The shape is equally well-suited for chopping and slicing motions. Notice the concave "steps" on the spine — their "waves" not only visually lighten the knife but also improve its balance.
The knife's flip is a pleasure in itself. A light press on the flipper tab is all it takes — and the blade shoots out like a comet from the handle. The construction is secured by a reliable liner lock mechanism.
Nebula is a true work of art. The pattern of the custom damascus delights the eye, the ergonomic handle settles naturally into the hand, and the blade's deployment is perfection in motion.
