The luxury and power of ancient Rome in the custom "Roma"
Justus Knives Roma is a custom flipper, created as a one-off by Russian knifemaker Alexey Dementiev — better known as Justus.
Roma — "Rome" — the Eternal City, which conquered nations with military might and hearts with refined beauty. Justus Knives Roma reflects the power, luxury, and splendor of the Empire's capital.
Just as Rome once united the peoples of Europe and Asia under its rule, the master has endowed the blade with a profile that freezes the traditions of both East and West. The steel shape blends the features of a Clip-Point and a Persian. Thanks to this combination, Roma inherits the excellent slicing characteristics of the Persian, while retaining the piercing capability of the Clip-Point. Don't hesitate to put this knife to work — the blade is forged from premium Swedish Elmax steel, renowned for its high corrosion resistance and long-lasting edge retention.
The custom's flip is smooth and majestic, like the flow of time in the Eternal City. One press of the flipper tab — and the blade rises calmly and confidently, only to fall into the trap of the frame lock. Notice the gleaming silver element of the lock spring — the steel insert is something of a signature touch from the master, ensuring long and reliable lock performance.
The ergonomic handle is crafted from ZlaTi titanium damascus. Justus skillfully plays with the material's pattern, making it mirror itself across the expanse of the scales — much like the evening lamps of Rome are doubled on the waters of the Tiber. The theme of gold and indigo continues on the pocket clip and pivot screw of anodized titanium, whose silhouette recalls the Colosseum.
This knife — which reaches with its broad blade toward the functionality of a tactical piece, and with its colorful handle attire toward a gentleman's — is truly worthy of its name.
