Salamander is a one-off exquisite costume flipper, made by the famous Russian knifemaker Alexei Dementiev, better known as Justus.

Two main characteristics of the custom are its low weight (only 105 g) and inserts from the newest composite "Space Coral".

Salamander will certainly interest collectors and investors. Each work of Justus is unique and perfect. The master's works are steadily growing in price and are welcome to the best collections in the world.

But it's a hell of a pity to place Salamander in a showcase. Would look better on the pocket of a three-piece suit, or in your hand, ready for a delicious cut.

The deployment of the knife is flawless. A light press on the fin - and the blade swiftly flies out of the handle. The unfolded blade is securely fixed with a frame lock. The titanium spring of the mechanism deserves special mention. Its smooth curve harmoniously fits into the decor concept, and the working surface is protected from abrasion by a hardened steel overlay.

The steel blade and titanium handle are inlaid with a composite of copper and carbon fiber "Space Coral". It's a strikingly strong and beautiful material.

The blade is made of steel RWL-34. Swedish high-carbon steel has the perfect combination of strength and corrosion resistance and retains its sharpness. The highly functional S-shaped cutting edge is duplicated by a decorative fuller line. The surface finish is a brilliant mirror polish.

The ergonomic handle fits comfortably in the palm. The through-hole of the handle visually and physically facilitates the knife. In the closed position, the mirror of the blade sparkles through the leaf-shaped slot. The embossed rays of the titanium surface alternate between polished and orange peel. A textured backspacer also provides a secure grip.

The smooth curve of the titanium clip harmoniously fits into the decor concept. The pocket clip comfortably places the lightweight folder on the pocket while being gentle on the trouser fabric.

The custom is packed in a designer case and comes with a certificate of authenticity made of craft cardboard.
