Swan lanyard bead by Andrey Avvakumov
Very delicate, skillful work from white metal. Moscow Master jeweler and engraver Andrey Avvakumov was born in 1967. At the age of 20, he began to create. Looking at his works, it is hard to believe that Andrei is self-taught.
Avvakumov's career began with the profession of a cabinetmaker. Honing the technique of carving, Andrei looked up to the engravings of Albrecht Durer and repeatedly took part in restoration work.
Currently, the master is working with silver, bronze, and gold. He is creating voluminous, literally living, highly artistic sketches on frescoes, miniature plaques. He is casting belt buckles, making jewelry and accessories, and periodically customizing knives.
Andrey Avvakumov believes that each work is a special memorable artifact, therefore he strives to give his work an individual semantic message, to give mystical warmth, to create not just a high-quality art object, but a real talisman.
