Packaging Concept

The Collective Cognitive Creative team carefully considered how to create a frame worthy of the work. How to surprise a collector? How to make the packaging functional? And is it possible to make it a real art object worthy of the knife? Turns out, it is possible!

Russian Lacquer Miniature

The boxes are made according to the canons of traditional Russian lacquer miniatures by artisans from the village of Kholuy, following centuries-old techniques of papier-mâché and lacquer painting.

Skull and Kaschey

Thus, two boxes were created, provisionally named "Skull" and "Kaschey". Skull is monochrome, brutal, with "near-Celtic" motifs. Kaschey is bright, romantic, with motifs from Russian folk tales.

Functionality

The insert for knife storage can be easily removed, turning the box into a universal container for any items — banknotes, coins, powders, and more.

Availability

The boxes were originally intended only as packaging for knives; separate sale was not planned. Knife buyers receive the box for free. However, now it is possible to purchase the box separately.
