International Forum FiCX-Paris Knife Show — one of the leading multicultural exhibitions of knife art in Western Europe. The capital of France annually arrives more than 100 of the most original knives from 20 countries. The festival became a real treasure trove for thirsty connoisseurs of cleverly crafted blades by attracting a number of high-class professionals in their area.

Fifth FiCX-Paris Knife Show will invariably take place in Le Carreau du Temple, which is located in the historic center of Paris. In the past it was a rag market in the Knights Templar quarter known since the XII century, later rebuilt into indoor shopping arcades in the second half of the XIX century. Now Le Carreau du Temple is a comfortable and authentic art space. The historical spirit of the place, as it were, told the organizers the basic concept of the show, in which many surprises are expected.

The forum is timed to the celebration of the European Heritage Days and the organizers decided to add to the main program of the exposition the swords of prominent cultural and political figures of France. Guests will be able to see the original swords of the former Minister of Education Xavier Darcos, the famous architect and restorer Alain-Charles Perrault, as well as the talented artist and craftsman and member of the Academy of Fine Arts Astrid de La Forrest. Nevertheless, the festival always keeps pace with modern trends in making knives and draws attention to the innovative approaches of knife masters. At the forum will be presented the products of knifemakers with exclusive design and a premium-class package. Guests and participants of FiCX-Paris Knife Show will be able to get a huge aesthetic pleasure from the seen samples of knife art.
