The International Forum New York Custom Knife Show (NYCKS) is one of the largest events for knifemakers and collectors from America and whole world. Every year New York receives more than a hundred famous nail-growers and avid knife art lovers. The main organizer of the show was and remains the American company Fifty Fifty Productions, which is the founder of a number of prestigious knife shows such as the Las Vegas Custom Knife Show, East Coast Custom Knife Show and Tactical Knife Invitational. This year the forty-first exhibition will be held in New York.

The show was founded in the late 70s of XX century by two enthusiasts: the supplier and distributor of custom knives Ted Devlet and the collector Paul Tosig. According to veterans of the community of knifemakers, Devlet was a legendary figure who had a huge impact on the American market of custom knives. The exhibition organizers do not change their traditions and are constantly working to attract new talented knifemakers from around the world. At the moment, the exhibition leader is Stephen Dlekk — the head of Fifty Fifty Productions.

Unfortunately, in 2013, due to the attacks of the district attorney of Manhattan and the bureaucratic red tape, Dlackk decided to move the show from New York to Jersey City.
