Krys Beskozyrka — Exclusive Lanyard Bead
Krys Beskozyrka is a bi-metal lanyard bead produced in an extremely limited run of just 10 pieces. The accessory was created by Mad Russian Heads and designed by Dmitry Streltsov.
Before we talk about the bead itself, it’s worth meeting its unlikely protagonist.
Krys Khvost ("Rat Tail") belongs to a growing family of animal characters that differ in species but share one unmistakable trait: a permanently irritated, ready-for-anything attitude. Alongside figures such as Vasyan the Bear, Morda the Cat, and other colorful relatives, Krys represents the tough, uncompromising spirit often associated with Russia’s Ural region.
The rat’s head is cast from high-grade titanium. Every detail of the character has been rendered with remarkable care — from the prominent incisors and defiant eyes to the textured fur and flattened ears. The finishing work was completed by hand. Its dark, rugged appearance comes from anodizing, while the vivid highlights of the crooked grin are achieved through a copper coating.
Perched on top is a classic sailor’s cap, complete with flowing ribbons, crafted from premium bronze. The surface is finished with an aged patina, giving it the character and charm of a well-preserved vintage artifact.
A small object with a great deal of personality — exactly as it was intended to be.
