Custom knife Dune with titanium wood and golden beetle 

Custom knife Imago opens a new page in the history of a famous model Dune. Presentation of the author's folder took place at the prestigious exhibition of knife making “New York Custom Knife Show 2019” in the USA.

The appearance of Dune by the Manufactory S&L was rethought by an engraver Olaf Pas. Strict futuristic geometry of scales was replaced by titanium wood, where the curious barbel beetle dwells. 

The name “Imago” is dedicated to the main character of the decor and means the last stage of an insect’s growth and development. Artistic texturing of a handle reveals the wood grain with knots, annual rings and even nail heads made of white metal. The central object of composition is the yellow metal beetle made with high accuracy.

This costume folder is a result of a collaboration of Manufactory S&L and artist-engraver Olaf Pas. The custom knife Imago Dune — is both fine-art work and a functional knife made of premium materials.

The comfortable stud fits under the thumb itself. Light circular motion and the folder fully opened. Bronze washers provide smooth deployment. 

The knife has the author's lock — Liner with Assisted Button Lock (LABL). To unlock, just press the button, camouflaged in the maze of lines of the woody texture on the right scale.

A drop-point blade is made from premium steel RWL-34 of the Swedish concern Damasteel. It sharpens easily, holds a great edge and is resistant to wear and corrosion.

The finish of the blade is like a mountain lake in calm weather. Its surface is a perfect mirror of skillful hand polishing.

The rectangular handle fits comfortably in the hand and, thanks to the rounded corners, does not harm your hand. Embossed decor of titanium scales not only extraordinarily aesthetic, but provides a rock-solid grip. 

The long backspacer and wide clip are also textured in wood grain and made of titanium. 

Comes with a box, the certificate of authenticity and author's key for screws.
