Custom knife Rhino T with Alpha design 2/5 

Our new project - the custom folding knife Rhino T. Manufacture caliber Rhino T with “Alpha” design would be produced in 5 samples.

The blade is made of elite Swedish powder steel RWL-34 from Damasteel and has a complicated design shape, labor-consuming in manufacturing and decoration. Blade’s elements feature different finishes such as small-stone stonewash on flats and grinds, hand polish of the fuller. 

The steel thumb stud for the knife opening might be relocated from one side of the blade to another and adjusted to the right angle for the comfort of use.

Scales are made of titanium grade BT-6 and decorated with a complex engraved pattern “Alpha” of Nikolay Lomachenkov authorship. It provides a better grip and makes the knife lighter together with cutouts on the inner surface of the scales.

The knife’s design allows it to easily open and close with one hand. Rhino T's owner presses the textured part of the ricasso right under the pivot screw and then pulls it. The lock is unfixed, the knife starts folding. To protect your fingers from the falling cutting edge, authors prudently created an intermediate stop point where the blade pauses moving. In the authors’ opinion, this feature gives the knife one additional characteristic – you can use the tool as a fidget device by closing and opening it multiple times. That is the work of the manufacture pivot screw and lock system, the original features of which are: a hidden mechanism of blade fixation, spring working as a backspacer, and blade’s “pit stop” while folding.

The knife comes with a branded box with a design from the famous artist Vitaly Ilyin (aka Barandash), a certificate of authenticity, and branded microfiber cloth.
