The design of every character is developed personally by Rick Maverick — the brand's founder. Then the virtuosos at the Starlingear Los Angeles workshop work on the accessories. Every piece stamped with the gear and the letter "S" — the company's trademark — is made exclusively by hand.
One of Starlingear's most famous characters is Motherfucker (aka MF). Unlike the sly Slickster or the charming Kung Fu, Motherfucker is a serious deadhead. With a face like that, there's no room for fooling around!
The fearsome skull is cast from premium metal with high corrosion resistance — and it can even purify water. Most of the skull is textured with an "orange peel" finish and covered in patina. In stark contrast to the black, "distressed" surface, the polished elements gleam brightly: the furrowed brows and four massive teeth.
Our brute is quite the dandy. MF takes great care of his hair — sporting a golden patterned mohawk crafted from mokume (a metallic composite invented in ancient Japan).
The bead is quite large — Motherfucker will get along famously with an imposing tactical knife or a full-sized EDC.
