Snow-white cabroquartz in the light of mokume

The custom knife Morpho Carboquartz possesses unique solemn purity. It resembles a snow-covered peak, illuminated by the rays of the rising sun. This gorgeous artifact was created by Oleksii Nesterenko (SICAC laureate) and his colleague Evgeny Khokhlov.

The perfection of Morpho Carboquartz’s mechanics matches its harmonious design. It is a one-off knife, each of its details is by hand brought to the ideal. Flipper presents nconditional collection value, and it satisfies the demands of the most exacting collectors of the custom knives.

A gentle push of a small flipper – and the knife unfolded. The reliable titanium spring of the liner lock fixes the open blade.

The author’s blade shape combines trailing-point and clip-point features. The graceful lines of the profile are emphasized by the splendid pattern of Damascus steel from Swedish Damasteel. The knife works great when stabbing and cuts with ease.

An ergonomic handle nicely fits a palm. White carboquartz scales sparkle in the sun like newly-fallen snow. Damascus steel pattern of wavy lines echoes with the goldish mokume of bolsters and clip. The color palette is supported by anodized to look like bronze hardware and liner.

Backspacer is also made of carboquartz.

The knife comes with the leather case of the terracotta color, in a pocket of which you can find an authenticity certificate signed by Oleksii Nesterenko.
