Cyberpunk-style Knight flipper by Rike Knife
Original design, elite steel worthy of the tactical folder big leagues, lightning-fast smooth deployment — meet the new production EDC from Rike Knife.
The designers have put serious work into the decoration of this sharp toy. The austere weave of titanium "muscle" on the handle is brought to life by azure anodizing on the hardware, backspacer, and pocket clip. The robust blade features a dual finish — stonewash and satin. The Knight's design is worthy of a place in a museum of modern art. Yet the knife is also ready for fieldwork: the functional drop-point profile has proven itself in both piercing and straight cuts, while the renowned European steel handles even the most aggressive use with ease.
The Knight — as the model name translates — is entirely subject to the will of its liege lord. At the mere gesture of its owner's finger, it instantly ejects the sharp blade from the skeletal handle. The user's fingers are protected from accidental closure by a reliable frame lock, whose titanium spring is reinforced with a hardened steel insert.
The sculpted multi-grind blade is forged from N690co steel — often called "Austrian stainless." This grade is particularly favored by survival knife makers for its resistance to bending and torsion, as well as its excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance. The hole in the blade echoes the handle's perforations and serves as an alternative opening method.
The futuristic lattice pattern of crosspieces and cutouts on the scales, the textured surface of the backspacer, and the ergonomic handle shape ensure a secure grip. The comfortable jimping on the spine and the presence of a choil provide more options for grip selection and adjustment.
The long pocket clip is fitted with a zirconium bead, which eases pocket entry and removal. You needn't worry about your favorite jeans — the clip grips firmly but doesn't damage the fabric.
The folder comes complete with a branded pouch and a cleaning cloth.
The Knight is a full-sized EDC with tactical ambitions — a stylish men's accessory and an excellent working tool.
