Triple Aught Design is what they call a startup, and an extremely successful one. A group of young friends who, adoring big cities, were constantly looking for adventures in nature, decided to create a clothing brand for extreme lovers. According to the idea, the equipment was supposed to suit both professional military personnel and ordinary outdoor enthusiasts. They decided to make the clothes not only practical but also stylish. Something that passive extreme lovers would find appealing: city casual style with elements for hiking. The company describes their clothing as "a Jason Bourne dream."
Of course, the outdoor cloth market hardly can be called a vacant niche. They needed to be unique and decided to play on the popularity of modern technologies and trust in proven materials. Moreover, they used materials that gained fame in heroic adventures. For example, the Talisman jacket was made from waxed cotton, which was once very popular with motorcyclists. The Sentinel Field jacket was made from an airtight and waterproof material invented by sailors in the late 19th century.
This approach succeeded, and things went so well that the company was able to move from a small workshop to the huge premises of a former factory in the San Francisco industrial area. The assortment expanded. Gradually, a variety of backpacks were added to the clothes, as well as various EDC devices: flasks, belts, sleeping bags.
