Golden Crusaders is a collectible fine-art knife by Consoli
The Golden Crusaders knife is the heavy cavalry of the talented Italian knife maker Sergio Consoli. The maestro has lovingly crafted and polished every detail. The only person whom Sergio invited to create the knife is Elena Bosio, a talented artist, and engraver, author of rich battle paintings.
The fine-art knife of Sergio Consoli is the triumph of steel. A knife handle, a bolster, and a liner are made of it. For the blade, the master chose the RWL-34. Sergio respects this Swedish powder steel for the absence of internal defects and excellent cutting properties. The massive blade profile is a modernized Drop-Point. The knife opens easily. Liner Lock fixes the blade in the open position.
The decoration of a knife is highly commendable. The finish of the blade is matte satin with a mirror-polished cutting edge one millimeter wide.
Elena Bosio made a luxurious engraving of the handle. Engraving plot — Golden Crusaders gave the name to the flipper. A small decorative element — an engraved floral pattern on the bolster adds a finishing touch to the piece.
Golden Crusaders combines the power of form with the sophistication of handwork. The subject of the work is pierced by the spirit of knighthood, noble battles, and distant wanderings.
