Fancy Custom Knife Steampunk Bronze-Electra
A folding knife with mind-blowing steampunk mechanics. It's completely handmade, down to every screw. Steigerwald creates truly incredible things, pushing the boundaries of modern art knifemaking. The Master has 40 years of experience in working with knives and watch mechanisms. He's a creative genius, honed by will and perseverance. A characteristic feature of his work is extremely interesting knife handles, with complex, elaborate mechanisms.
The Steampunk Bronze-Electra is another masterpiece of the German Knifemaker that we present to your attention.
The spear-shaped blade of the item is made by the designer Damascus by Jory Heckel.
The Master used many small parts and mechanisms made of titanium and bronze to manufacture the dynamic handle. The hydraulic mechanism located on the left side of the frame shortens the length of the handle during deployment. This principle is identical to the mechanics of the rocker mechanism of a steam locomotive. When the axis of the blade moves in the direction of opening, a row of gears drives the driving piston with a counter crank. There are an open clockwork mechanism and an LED indicator on the right side of the handle. When the mercury inside the sealed bulb closes the contact it lights up.
Collectors from all over the world are on the hunt for Steigerwald's works. There are very few of them, the Master makes no more than ten knives a year. Most of them are individual orders. To have products of this kind in your collection means to take your hobby for knives very seriously.
Want to make a memorable gift for a rich friend who has everything? We recommend paying attention to Steigerwald's folding knives, as well as the blades of the Reference section of our catalog.
