A new name in the family of knives of the Manufactory SIL is the custom folding knife Greta Oto with the author’s lock «Back Shift Spring Lock» (abbreviated BaSSL).
The pattern of the knife handle has a two-level depth: the background and foreground vary by type of finish and the presence of decorative inserts. The interlacing contours of the abstract stained-glass frame reminded us of the structure of butterfly wings. This association gave the name to the knife. The South American glass butterfly or Greta Oto has a truly surreal appearance due to its transparent wings with dark veins.
